Mystery Shopping
Ever wonder what it'd be like to eat at nice places and then get paid for it?  That's where "mystery" or "secret" shoppers come in.  Companies will actually assign you a specific restaurant or store to visit, you order your meal or purchase specific items and then write up a critique of the service you received.  In return, the company reimburses you and more often than not, pays you a fee for your feedback.  I used to do it quite often myself though I had to retire a couple of years ago.  I did send in an application to start again recently, however.

So how do you start?  Well, I started when I saw an ad in my local newspaper (employment section) for "mystery shoppers".  Called the number and was given an application.  Other ways you can get started is to look through your phone book for "marketing" firms and give them a call to see if they hire secret or mystery shoppers.
